Yes. We finish our furniture with plant-based, food-safe oil. Zero harmful chemicals.* Safe to eat off, safe for crawling toddlers, safe for pets.
A comparable solid wood dining table from RH typically runs $3,500–$5,000. From Pottery Barn, $1,800–$2,400 (often with veneer top). Our pieces are priced fairly because we're an American-Owned Family Business and don't carry the markups of large retailers.
Yes — and shipping is always free, no surcharges. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii take 2–3 days longer than the contiguous US.
We know your weekends are for living, not assembling furniture. We offer a curated selection of fully assembled pieces. For items that do require a little assembly, we've engineered the process to be highly intuitive and completely manageable. All hardware and tools are included, so you can enjoy your new piece in minutes.
Beautifully. Better Wood & Home is designed in warm, natural wood tones (caramel oak, weathered natural, walnut, honey pine, ebony) and silhouettes (farmhouse, mid-century, organic modern, Wabi Sabi) that pair effortlessly with the looks you'll find at the major high-end furniture retailers. Many customers tell us BWH solid-wood pieces anchor a room of mixed-brand chairs, rugs, and lighting beautifully — including this verbatim review from Rebecca, a verified buyer: "it matches my Pottery Barn set perfectly but for a fraction of the cost."
